Why is "The Time Machine" Relavent to my Life?

The Time Machine is surprisingly very relative to my life. The novel is rounded around the idea of time travel. I am not to say that I have traveled through time, but rather I want to and think about it all the time. It would be an interesting feat to be able to go into time and take a peek at what my futuristic life will bring in the next few years, or few decades. Furthermore, it would be compelling to be able to go into the past and change or fix mistakes that I am not fully content about. These quick fixes could be a few minutes or a few years. Overall, it would simply be amazing to be able to move freely through the history of the world with respect to time.

When I was a young boy I remember witnessing cartoons that included time travel, and I always thought it was all a joke or it was not even close to possible. Now I understand that this may not be completely true. When we are sped up, time tends to move slower and slower the faster we are in motion. For example, if someone were to stand in one place holding a very precise clock and another person hops on a plane and flies around the world, the person who flew around the world would hold a clock with less time and in essence would have aged slower. The faster one travels the slower time ticks. At the speed of light time is thought to be zero. At first I was skeptical, but the research and experiments have proven this to a fact. Time travel is simply another one of Earth’s mysterious wonders.
